120 production referenced based on 1992 Motor Magazine article. This articles confirms PK751 (Vic rego plate) was purchased from Bill Patterson Motors (Vic) and then modified, suggesting no current evidence of Victorian built S4’s, contrary to rumours. Trade Unique Cars article (see references) also confirms only Sydney produced S4’s received S4 build plates. 

Six S4’s were entered in the 1963 Armstrong 500.
